HAWAIʻI FARMERS UNION MAUI HĀNA CHAPTER

The HFU Maui Hāna Chapter has operated the Hāna Farmers Market in partnership with HFUF since 2020, offering a weekly venue for farmers, fishers, ranchers, and value-added producers to sell their products while providing the community access to fresh, healthy local food. The chapter is also a key partner in the Hāna Hub project, a community-certified kitchen and agricultural processing facility currently in development. Additionally, the Hāna Chapter plays a leading role in addressing rat lungworm disease in East Maui through the East Maui RLW Task Force.

The HFU Maui Hana chapter hosts member meet-ups at local farms, featuring farm tours
and hands-on workshops, as well as an annual holiday pāʻina.
The Hāna Farmers Market also takes place every Friday in the Hāna town center.
