The Hawaiʻi Green Growth ʻĀina Resilience Grant Program is a partnership between Hawaiʻi Green Growth (HGG), ʻĀina Aloha Economic Futures (AAEF), and Hawaiʻi Farmers Union Foundation (HFUF) that provides direct funding to community-led projects focused on watershed restoration, indigenous agriculture, food production, cultural stewardship, education, and wildfire resilience. As a funder and the fiscal sponsor, HFUF helps connect resources directly to farmers, cultural practitioners, and land stewards working to strengthen their communities and care for ʻāina.
Through the program's first funding round, four West Maui projects received $25,000 each in unrestricted funding to advance restoration, food production, education, and stewardship efforts across the region.
