Aloha Maui Community,

What if we could strengthen plant and soil health without relying on imported, fossil-fuel-dependent fertilizers? Learn about the Johnson-Su Bioreactor — a static, aerated composting system that produces a biologically rich, fungal-forward compost inoculant designed to rebuild soil vitality and improve nutrient cycling using locally available organic materials in Hawaiʻi.

You’re invited to join the Hawaiʻi Farmers Union Haleakalā Chapter for our monthly community meeting & locavore potluck, featuring a special educational talk story: A New Path to Plant & Soil Health with No Imported Fertilizers with Char O’Brien, co-founder of Soil Thrive Hawai'i and Food Security Hawai'i.
